Viper girl!!!

Near my house is a rounded two lane curve that at the end of the curve becomes one lane. The right lane ends. I've seen many drivers hit the brakes not knowing the lane ends and now they have to merge left.

Traffic is not bad but if you are not paying attention it can get messy.

Yesterday traffic was backed up. I sat in a line for like 3 minute that inched forward. Then up ahead I saw that a cool looking car had somehow missed the lane termination and was in the grass beyond the lane.

As I got closer, still pretty far away I noticed it was a Dodge Viper!!! And I watched with baited breath as a pretty cute girl walked from talking to a police girl over to the Viper and got in the drivers seat. I'm guessing she was about 30 and blonde. Probably the wife of a rich dude.

The police girl stopped traffic and motioned to the Viper girl to try and back onto the road where it was one lane. The problem that I saw was that the blacktop had a fairly steep lip at that point. I didn't know how well the Viper was gonna clear that lip.

I was still about 4 cars back but had a perfect view as Viper girl put it in reverse and let out the clutch. For a second her right rear tire just spun in the wet grass then the left spun and she started to slowly move back.

She was trying to back at an angle to the blacktop so her left rear wheel would hit the lip first. It was getting harder to see but luckily the cars were angled and I could still see. The engine on the Viper sounded amazing.

Sure enough she took it very slow as she approached the blacktop not wanting to hurt her car. The left rear hit the lip and stopped her and she gave it more gas and more clutch and the right rear just spun in the grass and started to dig up dirt. She stopped after about 3 seconds of spinning and rolled forward and tried again. Same result. She was not gonna get over that lip very easy. The police girl walked around and looked at her right rear tire as she tried a third time then walked up to the pax side and let us go.

I wish she had let us stay there but I think she told Viper girl that she was stuck and gonna have to get some help. I looked at the Viper girl as I drove by and she looked quite frustrated as she talked with the police girl and seemed to be looking around for another place to try and get out of her grassy trap.

I think they had to bring some boards in for her to drive out on. I wanted to stay and watch but had a meeting.

But that was a first for me! A stuck girl in a Viper!!! I want to see way more of that!!!
